This Privacy Policy explains how Purely, published by UBCT ("we", "our", or "us"), handles data when you use the application.

Purely is designed to analyze products using barcode scanning and provide informational insights. We value user privacy and aim to minimize the collection of personal data.

2. Data We Process

2.1 App Functionality Data

Scan history and favorites may be stored locally on your device.
Product-related data, such as ingredients, nutritional values, and similar information, may be processed to provide analysis results inside the app.
Purely does not operate its own backend server to store user-generated personal data.

2.2 Health-Related Information

The app may process product-related information such as nutritional values, ingredients, allergens, or similar data that may be considered health-related in order to provide informational analysis features.

This information is processed only to display analysis and insights to the user.
No personal medical records or personal health history are collected by Purely.
This information is not stored by us on our own remote servers.
This information is not sold to third parties.

2.3 Third-Party Services

Purely may use trusted third-party services to support advertising, subscriptions, payments, analytics, and app functionality.

Google AdMob: may collect or process data such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, approximate location, app interactions, and diagnostic data for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and measurement purposes in accordance with Google's own policies.
Google Play Billing: processes purchases, subscriptions, and transaction-related information securely through Google Play.
RevenueCat: may process subscription status, purchase tokens, app user ID, product identifiers, and transaction metadata in order to manage in-app subscriptions, entitlements, and purchase restoration.

3. Data We Do Not Collect Directly

No name, phone number, or home address collected directly by Purely.
No personal medical records or medical history collected directly by Purely.
No precise GPS location collected directly by Purely.

4. Permissions

Camera: Used only for barcode scanning functionality. Purely does not store or transmit camera images or videos to its own servers.

5. How Data Is Used

To provide barcode scanning and product analysis features.
To display nutritional and product-related insights.
To maintain app performance, stability, and security.
To display advertisements via Google AdMob.
To process purchases and subscriptions via Google Play Billing.
To validate and manage subscription access through RevenueCat.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Limited data may be processed by third-party services integrated into the app, such as Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, and RevenueCat, in accordance with their own privacy policies and only as needed to provide their services.

7. Data Storage

App-generated data such as scan history or favorites may be stored locally on the user's device.
Purely does not use its own backend or remote server to store user personal data.
Some subscription or transaction-related data may be processed and stored by third-party providers such as Google Play Billing and RevenueCat as required to operate subscriptions and restore purchases.

8. Data Retention

Locally stored data, such as scan history and favorites, remains on the user's device until the user deletes it, clears app storage, or uninstalls the application.
Purely does not retain user personal data on its own servers after app removal.
Third-party services such as Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, and RevenueCat may retain certain data for as long as necessary under their own legal, operational, tax, fraud-prevention, and compliance requirements.

9. Data Deletion

Users can delete locally stored app data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
Users may also contact us at bctumt@gmail.com regarding data deletion questions or requests related to data controlled by Purely.
Because Purely does not maintain its own backend storage for user personal data, there is generally no separate server-side deletion process for data controlled by us.
For data processed by third-party providers such as Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, or RevenueCat, deletion, retention, and related requests may be subject to those providers' own policies and procedures.

10. Children's Privacy

This application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.

11. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data handled by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with the revised date.
